In Hastings a new initiative to utilize empty shop and retail spaces has started. AWG visited the former Halifax Estate agent shop, now home to a group of artists and re-named the ‘Nomad’ Creative space.

Nomad have just hosted the ‘Big Draw’ to co-incide with the nationwide Big Draw event around Britain.

From Wednesday 20 October to Sunday 25 October an exhibition titled ‘Dis-place’ is on view from 11am to 6pm. A launch event takes place on October 22 at 6.30 preceded by  readings at 5.30pm by artist Roz  Cran. This will include readings from such writers as John Berger.
