September sees the return of the Coastal Currents festival – the principal culture and arts festival based in and around Hastings and featuring performance, outdoor street theatre, exhibitions and more!. Check out the website for full details.

Festival highlights include the new theatrical extravaganza Fair Maid of the West South East on the 4th and 5th at Hastings Castle, A Midsummer Night’s Dream on 20th and 21st in St Leonards Gardens, and Late And Live street arts on the 4th in Priory Meadow

The 20th and 21st sees the return of the very popular Seafood & Wine Festival.
Based at the Stade, Hastings Old Town, the festival celebrates Hastings” unique fishing industry and heritage. A weekend of outdoor food and wine stalls, music, talks and more..!
