This week we visited 2 new openings at 2 very different venues. An unusual but surprisingly interesting exhibition at the Hastings Museum and Art Gallery of European Basketmakers!. There is a mixture of traditional, functional and sculptural work of al shapes, sizes and colours complimented by a lavishly illustrated catalogue.

The privately run Memorial Gallery in the centre of Hastings opened its doors for the first time this year. A colourful exhibition of mermaid inspired images by Alice Mason. Opening times are by appointment only so please give them a call…. !
