College, aspace, Photography, F-ish
Two more photographic exhibitions have just opened both of a very different character. Nigel Green is showing a series of working photographs at the Hastings College aspace gallery prior to its move to the new building in the town centre this summer, 2009. With a longterm interest in reconstruction architecture, his aim is ‘to document the spaces of the college and the artefacts that are associated with them to produce a record of the institution in its present form’.
The centrally based F-ish gallery hosts an exhibition of work by Malcolm Glover which is now on until 19 April, Wednesday to Saturday 11-6pm, Sunday 12-4pm.
His current work involves using digital technology to produce large-scale prints portraying 25 streets throughout Britain which are photographed at 45 minute intervals throughout the day. He also presents one from his swimming pool series. For further information visit the F-ish gallery.
