A visit at the weekend to the stunning Independent Photographer’s Gallery (IPG) in Battle

where there is an excellent exhibition titled ‘Silver Footprint’ by Robin Bell and others celebrating 35 years of photographic printing for some of the world’s great photographers. The exhibition finishes on the 20 June. The IPG also co-ordinates the now well established Terry O’Neill Award with major judges, sponsors and prizes and the closing date is the 31 July.
A new SoCo exhibition has opened at the Conquest Hospital organised by Arts in Healthcare. Its shows more than 30 works with a range of prints, sculptures, paintings and drawings. The exhibition runs until 16 August.

New store Plenty on the St Leonards seafront specializes in local, eco, organic and fair-trade groceries, freshly baked bread and other household supplies in a large premise overlooking the Sea.

It hosted its first ‘networking evening’ inviting local businesses and others to share ideas and nibbles.
