In Hastings a new initiative to utilize empty shop and retail spaces has started. AWG visited the former Halifax Estate agent shop, now home to a group of artists and re-named the ‘Nomad’ Creative space.
Nomad have just hosted the ‘Big Draw’ to co-incide with the nationwide Big Draw event around Britain.

Arts Forum, Coast, Cafes, Connections

The Hastings Arts forum based on the St Leonards seafront has recently launched its new website, a much updated improvement which is being developed further over the next few months. In August the 2 galleries hosted an exhibition of work by Hastings College students.

Artwatchguide is an independently produced publication advertising Museums and Galleries in the borough of Hastings and St Leonards and the district of Rother. This area includes the towns of Rye, Battle and Bexhill. The guide is updated annually and distributed to outlets in the South East of England.
